IQOS TEREA Purple Wave Menthol ITALY

IQOS TEREA Purple Wave Menthol Italy is a heated tobacco stick designed for compatible IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i devices. It combines a tobacco blend with deep menthol cooling and dark forest fruit aroma nuances, creating a distinctive profile for adults who prefer both tobacco and refreshing berry-inspired notes.

Unlike traditional cigarettes, TEREA sticks are designed to be heated by the IQOS ILUMA system rather than lit with a flame. The ILUMA range uses SMARTCORE induction technology, which is specifically designed for compatible TEREA sticks. TEREA products should not be used with older blade-based IQOS generations.

TEREA Purple Wave Flavor Profile

Deep Menthol Cooling

Menthol is one of the defining characteristics of Purple Wave. IQOS describes the profile as incorporating deep menthol cooling sensations, giving the stick a noticeably fresh and chilled character.

This makes Purple Wave different from tobacco-forward varieties where the tobacco character is the primary focus without a strong cooling component.

Dark Forest Fruit Aroma

Alongside the menthol, Purple Wave contains indulgent dark forest fruit aroma nuances. These fruit notes add a berry-inspired dimension to the tobacco and cooling combination.

The overall profile can be described as:

• Tobacco foundation
• Deep menthol cooling
• Dark forest fruit aroma
• Refreshing character
• Fruity aromatic finish

The exact perception of the flavor can vary between users.

What Makes TEREA Purple Wave Different?

Tobacco and Menthol Combination

Purple Wave brings together tobacco and menthol rather than focusing exclusively on one profile. The tobacco provides the underlying heated-tobacco character, while menthol adds freshness.

Forest Fruit Aromas

The dark forest fruit notes distinguish Purple Wave from basic menthol products. The fruit aroma gives the profile additional complexity while remaining within a tobacco-stick format.

Designed for IQOS ILUMA

TEREA Purple Wave is designed for IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i devices. The official product information identifies these devices as compatible with TEREA sticks.

How to Use IQOS TEREA Purple Wave

Step 1: Check Device Compatibility

Before using the product, make sure you have a compatible IQOS ILUMA or IQOS ILUMA i device.

TEREA sticks are not designed for older blade-based IQOS systems.

Step 2: Insert the TEREA Stick

Insert the Purple Wave stick into the compatible holder according to the instructions for your particular IQOS ILUMA model. Do not force the stick into the device.

Step 3: Start the Heating Session

Activate the device according to the manufacturer's operating instructions.

Step 4: Use During the Session

The ILUMA device heats the tobacco stick rather than requiring it to be burned with a lighter or match.

Step 5: Remove the Used Stick

After the session, remove the used TEREA stick and dispose of it appropriately. Do not attempt to reuse, open, or modify the stick.

TEREA SMARTCORE sticks contain a metal component and should not be swallowed or disassembled. Keep them away from children.

TEREA Purple Wave Compared With Other Menthol Flavors

Purple Wave has a more layered profile than a simple menthol-only product because it combines tobacco, deep cooling, and dark forest fruit aromas.

TEREA Turquoise, for example, is described as crisp menthol cooling combined with lightly toasted tobacco and subtle zesty aroma notes. TEREA Blue focuses on deep menthol cooling with a mellow tobacco blend, peppermint, and creamy aroma notes.

Purple Wave instead emphasizes forest fruit alongside its menthol cooling. This gives each variant a different aromatic direction.

Buying Tips for IQOS TEREA Purple Wave Italy

Confirm the Italian Edition

If you specifically want the Italian-market version, carefully check the packaging and product labeling before purchasing.

Check Device Compatibility

Make sure your device is an IQOS ILUMA or compatible ILUMA i model. TEREA sticks are not intended for older blade-based IQOS devices.

Inspect the Packaging

Choose products with intact packaging and clear labeling. Avoid packs that appear damaged, opened, or improperly stored.

Consider the Flavor Profile

Purple Wave combines tobacco, deep menthol and dark forest fruit aromas. If you prefer a straightforward tobacco flavor without cooling or fruit notes, another TEREA variant may be more appropriate for your taste.

Check Local Requirements

Nicotine and heated tobacco products are subject to different regulations depending on the country. Check the applicable local requirements before purchasing or using the product.

Storage and Handling

Keep TEREA sticks in their original packaging and store them in a dry, suitable environment away from excessive heat and moisture.

Keep unused and used sticks away from children and pets. Do not open, modify, burn, or disassemble the sticks. IQOS specifically warns that SMARTCORE sticks contain a sharp metal component that can cause serious injury if swallowed.
