IQOS TEREA Italy refers to TEREA heated tobacco sticks intended for use with compatible IQOS ILUMA devices. TEREA is made with real tobacco and uses the SMARTCORE induction heating system found in the IQOS ILUMA platform. Unlike older IQOS systems that use a heating blade, ILUMA heats the TEREA stick through an internal metal heating element.
The Italian TEREA range is designed for adult nicotine users who prefer heated tobacco rather than conventional combustible cigarettes. Depending on the specific Italian market range and availability, users can find different tobacco profiles, from balanced and mellow blends to richer roasted and aromatic varieties.
One important point is compatibility: TEREA sticks are designed exclusively for IQOS ILUMA devices. They should not be used with older IQOS devices that use a blade heating system.
What Is IQOS TEREA Italy
IQOS TEREA is a range of heated tobacco sticks developed for the IQOS ILUMA family. Each stick contains specially prepared tobacco along with an internal metal heating element. The ILUMA device activates the heating system through induction, so there is no traditional blade inserted into the tobacco stick.
TEREA sticks are designed as single-use products. After an experience, the used stick should be removed and disposed of rather than reused. IQOS states that a TEREA experience can last up to 14 puffs or six minutes, whichever comes first, although actual duration can vary with individual use.

TEREA Flavors Available in Italy
The TEREA range includes different flavor profiles designed around varying tobacco characteristics. Official IQOS markets describe blends such as Amber, Sienna, Teak, Yellow, Silver and Russet with different combinations of roasted, woody, nutty, herbal, malty and aromatic notes.
TEREA Amber
TEREA Amber is built around a rounded, toasted tobacco profile. IQOS describes it with light woody and nutty aroma notes. This makes Amber part of the more traditional tobacco-oriented side of the TEREA range.
TEREA Sienna
TEREA Sienna features a rounded toasted tobacco blend with woody and light tea aroma notes. It provides a tobacco-focused profile with additional aromatic layers.
TEREA Teak
TEREA Teak is described as a rounded toasted tobacco blend with nutty aromas. It is another option for users looking for a richer tobacco character without a strong cooling profile.
TEREA Yellow
TEREA Yellow combines a mellow tobacco blend with zesty aromatic notes. It offers a lighter and brighter profile compared with some of the darker tobacco varieties.
TEREA Silver
TEREA Silver is described as a balanced toasted tobacco blend with subtle spicy-herbal aroma notes. It sits within the more refined and balanced side of the TEREA range.
TEREA Russet
TEREA Russet is a richer toasted tobacco blend with malty aromas and a more pronounced tobacco character.

TEREA Italy and IQOS ILUMA Compatibility
One of the most important features of TEREA is its specific compatibility with IQOS ILUMA.
The TEREA stick contains an internal metal heating element that works with the ILUMA device's SMARTCORE induction technology. This design is different from older HEETS sticks, which were developed for blade-based IQOS devices.
TEREA With IQOS ILUMA
TEREA is specifically designed for IQOS ILUMA devices. The stick and device are intended to work together as a system.
TEREA With Older IQOS Devices
TEREA should not be inserted into older blade-based IQOS devices. IQOS warns that using TEREA in earlier devices can damage the heating blade.
TEREA vs HEETS
HEETS and TEREA are not interchangeable products.
HEETS were developed for earlier IQOS devices using a heating blade. TEREA was developed for IQOS ILUMA and incorporates an internal heating element for induction heating.
How to Use IQOS TEREA Italy
Using TEREA with a compatible IQOS ILUMA device is straightforward.
Step 1: Prepare the ILUMA Device
Make sure your compatible IQOS ILUMA device has sufficient battery power and is ready for use.
Step 2: Insert the TEREA Stick
Insert the TEREA stick into the holder as instructed for your specific ILUMA model. Do not force the stick into the device.
Step 3: Start the Experience
The ILUMA device detects and heats the compatible TEREA stick using induction technology.
Step 4: Use the Stick
A TEREA stick is designed for a single experience. IQOS states that it provides up to 14 puffs or six minutes, whichever comes first.
Step 5: Remove the Used Stick
After the session, remove the TEREA stick and dispose of it appropriately.
TEREA sticks should never be reused, lit with a lighter or match, or disassembled.
Design of TEREA Sticks
TEREA sticks have a specialized internal construction designed specifically for IQOS ILUMA. IQOS describes components including specially prepared tobacco, an internal stainless-steel-coated heating element, a protective wrap, and a front seal.
This construction allows the ILUMA system to heat the tobacco without using a conventional blade.
The sealed design also helps prevent tobacco residue from entering the holder in the way that can occur with older blade-based systems.
Benefits of the TEREA ILUMA System
Blade-Free Heating
The IQOS ILUMA system uses induction rather than a traditional heating blade. This is one of the defining differences between TEREA and older HEETS-based IQOS systems.
No Traditional Blade Cleaning
Because ILUMA uses a blade-free induction system, the device does not require the same blade-cleaning routine associated with older IQOS generations.
Wide Range of Tobacco Profiles
TEREA offers different tobacco experiences, including mellow, balanced, toasted, woody, nutty, malty, menthol and aromatic profiles, depending on the market.
Consistent Stick Format
Each TEREA stick is manufactured for use with the ILUMA system and is intended to provide a consistent format from stick to stick.

Flavor Availability Can Differ

Do Not Reuse TEREA
